Do You Want To See What Fear Looks Like????

It's funny how things change as you get older. When I was a kid I used to be the one who would climb the highest in a tree, jump of the highest things and I had no fear. I really don't know what has happened to me, I now get dizzy and clammy and don't feel comfortable at all on anything over a metre off the ground. I thought I would be fine doing the Q1 which is the highest sky rise on the Gold Coast. Obviously safety is paramount and you are all harnessed in but it still scared me.

It was a beautiful view from the top and our host did such a great job of pointing things out to us. With it also being whale season we saw lots of Whales in the distance. I'm acting all cool calm and collected on the photo below, my acting skills are truly amazing.

 Look no hands!!!

These last two photos make me laugh. There was a pose to do where you let go of your harness, squatted and leaned back. This pose was not for me as my legs were shaking so much and I never let go of my harness or the side rail at anytime. Then our host said to pretend to push my friends off the edge. It was funny because miraculously for a photo I could take both hands off the harness and pretend to push them. The things you do for a photo. I hope you all have had a lovely week and enjoy your weekend xxx

I have heard of this before on the Gold Coast. It's so true about getting more scared of you get older. I'm scared of pretty much everything these days. I would have so much fear going up that high!

Those views are AMAZING!!!! but I'm totally with you on the cling-on-and-don't-let-go thing! Well done on letting go for the photo! Not sure I could have done that!
