To Hat or Not To Hat???
To hat or not to hat that is the question. I adore hats but always feel like a fool wearing one. How come some people can pull them off and others cant? My friend told me it's all to do with confidence. So I confidently wore this outfit out to our anniversary dinner and promptly took it off after the first 15 minutes. I felt that I looked better with hat hair than I did with that hat on my head. Your either feeling it or your not, and I just wasn't feeling the hat.
These are a couple of quick snaps before we left, Hubby calls this dress my naughty librarian dress which I much admit I kind of like. I love the lace detailing on the dress, I am a sucker for lace. I hope you all had a lovely weekend, back to the grind tomorrow. Fingers crossed that the week flies by XXX

Ooh! The dress is lovely. And you said exactly how I feel about hats -- some women can wear them and some can't. I try and it always ends up in tears...

I love hats but I agree you have to be quite confident to wear them, hubbie likes hats too and he's got himself a 'pork pie' hat which he loves wearing out, it is funny though he gets a lot of looks when he wears it haha
ah i think you look lovely in the hat but i cant talk i love them too but always seem to pull them straight off and then have to deal with hat hair haha. happy anniversary too.
Oh I love a good hat! And I've recently started wearing them around at night as well, which I'm kind of digging! You should give it another go for sure. And lovely dress!
Oooh, nice dressAND hat. If I wear big hats, then it's outside that I wear them. I walk everywhere so I have plenty of opportunity. Berets and beanies and baker boy hats etc, you can wear them all the time, even inside- it feels like you're not wearing one. X
I'm a sucker for hats so yes , hat all the way!

Doo eet. Hats are different because they sit so close to our faces that they can change our appearance slightly when we look in the mirror and it can be disconcerting. Plus they're a rarer fashion statement now so it makes you stand out. I say you can definitely rock the hat!
I love your dress. I'm guilty if buying hats and never wearing them! I wish I had more confidence to wear them but I always feel paranoid and think they make me look like I'm trying too hard!
