Things I Grew Up With

I'm playing along with Meet Me At Mikes 52 lists the feature of this week is "Things I grew up with". I think this list is really showing my age, I have to admit that I have thoroughly enjoyed myself reminiscing of the good old days.

* Roller skates
* Elastics
* Holly Hobby
* Enid Blyton books
* The Wombles
* Totem Tennis
* Trampolines with out nets and padding
* Monkey Bars
* Trixie Beldon books
* Boris's Breakfast Club
* Hula Hoops
* Spokey Dokey on my bike tyres
* Agros cartoon Connection
* Anne of Green Gables

Did any of these remind you of how good life was when you were growing up. Image of my little brother and I playing totem tennis and my cousins on the trampoline in our backyard. Two kids on a trampoline at the same time with out padding and netting, my parent s were not responsible hehehehe!!!!

Some of the mentioned games I do not know. Sounds like fun!

I have memories of some horrific falls from monkey bars! We obviously share many of the same memories of what we grew up with. Xx

That looks like my backyard! Things were so much more relaxed for kids back then. My parents would let me wander the neighborhood on my bicycle, all alone, all the time. And nothing bad ever happened.

So many memories here. The main one that always stands out to me is those amazing trampolines we had when I was a kid in the 1990s. So much fun, the best ever. They sure dont much trampolines like that these days.
