Roadtrip from Hell

A few weeks a go after lots of nagging, Hubby said that he would take me to some Sunflower fields. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers and to see a whole field of them is a dream come true. It was a 2 1/2 hour trip to get there and about 2 hours into our trip our car over heated. We called our automobile association who told us we were unable to drive the car as our radiator had blown and they would organize a tow for us. It was a 2 hour wait for the tow so we went for a walk, we found the Toowoomba hospital and decided to get magazines and some lunch and sit in the garden area while we waited. It's weird how the garden calmed us down because we were both highly stressed out, but it did. It was a lovely area and if I was sick in that hospital I think I would have came down to that garden every single day to brighten my mood.

Oh how sad! That sounds like it would have been an awesome trip! But I am glad that nature restored your anxious feelings to a calmer place. What a rotten thing to happen on what should have been a glorious trip!x

Sunflowers are so beautiful, one of my favourites too. It would have been incredible to see. I am so sad to hear about your bad luck. At least you could spend some time in the gardens instead of being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

These pictures are stunning, but ugh, that really sucks. It's always so frustrating when you're excited about something and then it goes to hell. Really though, this garden almost makes up for it - so stunning!
Hopefully you'll get to see the sunflowers soon, love.

oh no what a nightmare, but that garden does look lovely, our hospitals certainly don't have anything like that!
