Newstead House

Today we took at trip to Newstead House which is one of the oldest surviving residence dating back to 1846. It has beautiful gardens and is surrounded by park lands down to the Brisbane River.

Our Plan for today was to take a tour of the house because it was one of my favourite school excursions and I have never been back. I think I enjoyed it as a kid because they were talking about ghost sightings and even from a young age that kind of stuff has interested me.

Anyway on arrival at the house we noted the opening times did not start till 2pm. So needless to say I only have photos of the outside of the house and unfortunately there were no ghost sightings.

Look at my white legs in that first photo, they have been covered up for far to long. I am not someone who is obsessed with a tan but I am quite literally glowing at the moment. Hope you all had a lovely weekend XXX

"Unfortunately there were no ghost sightings?" Are you kidding me? if I saw a ghost, I would crap myself and never be able to be alone anywhere ever again.

I'm with Tallulah! I most certainly am not after ghost sightings! Your legs don't look too glowingly white to me... But then I almost glow in the dark with my pastiness all year round...

It looks lovely! I love noseying on posts about people's excursions! My legs are really pale too but that's because I wear factor 30 most of the time!

I have white legs year round, in high school other girls always wanted to sit beside me so they'd look browner lol

I have been fascinated with the paranormal since I was a child as well! I've had my fair share of...unexplainable encounters with stuff. But I understand not everyone believes. You should watch Celebrity Ghost Stories on the Bio channel (If you're in the states - I just realized I don't know where you're located or your name! Eeep!). It's an addicting show!!
Oh, before I forget, I love all the photos. I actually got my first baby tan this summer. I call it a baby tan because it's nothing major but my hubby and I notice it and he high fives me for it. haha Otherwise I'd normally be glowing, too. :)
