Weekend Wonders

Saturday we went to the Paddy's Day Parade there is something about kids and old people in parades that bring a smile to my face.

After the parade we went to GOMA The Gallery Of Modern Art. I love it there it isn't like normal art galleries there are slippery slides, balloon rooms and all round craziness. My favourite part was the wish wall which is full of ribbons with peoples wishes on them. What you do is write down your wish on some paper and swap it with one of the ribbons. Sorry can't tell you what I chose or I what I wrote down cause then it won't come true. Another favourite of mine is the skull picture made from bits of diamond dust took a photo of this for "Gawgus Things" as she recently posted how much she loves skulls, hope you like it.

These last photos are our walk to the bus stop through the Arbour Walk at South Bank this is such a beautiful part of our city which is all being rebuilt due to the floods. I'm so glad this path wasn't destroyed because it is so stunning and runs through out the area.

How was your weekend Girls? Hope you had lots of fun xxx

The kids decked out in green and grey beards in the parade made me smile and GOMA is so cool, the ribbons are a great idea!

Looks like a fun weekend!

Hello love, I saw your thoughtful post on gawgus's blog and wanted to say hi. I too celebrated st pattys yesterday, but instead of going to a museum (which I should have....) we ended up doing karaoke. Thank you for sharing the artwork, how beautiful and what a neat museum. Happy Sunday to you.

Love the Rivane Neuenschwander piece. My bracelet fell off immediately last summer and all that I wished came through!
