Because We Are All Hero's

Today I ran a 5km fun run for International Women's Day. All money goes to Breast Cancer Research and as one of my friends Mum's was recently diagnosed and after having a scare myself I decided this was a worthy cause. I am quite proud of myself as I hadn't trained at all and finished in a reasonable time. I was going to post a photo of me crossing the finish line but it is so awful that I decided to inspire you with photos from heartit instead.

Well done hun! My best friend was diagnosed last year and had to endure an horrendous round of chemo, then breast removal and finally radiotherapy. She's in remission now though so a huge thank you for raising money for this worthwhile cause! XXX

Well done! I'm thinking of doing this next year but I think I'd train before the event as my level of fitness is pretty poor. Would you run it again?

Yeah, I don't think many people can pull off the sweaty, exhausted look except for Davina McCall.
Congratulations!

A diamond dust skull print?! OMG - sounds divine! Was it actually real diamond dust (just thinking about the price tag!). Now that I would really, really love to have. Can't wait to see the photo of it!! This is what I love about the world of blogging - I feel like I have 'friends' all over the world now, it's great! Bon week-end xxx
