Weekend Wonders

Saturday we had free tickets to the corporate box at the Brisbane Roar soccer game. I surprisingly really enjoyed myself,it had nothing to do with the free food or alcohol I swear. I would really love to go to another game and be amongst it with the real fans.

Sunday was my Besty's Birthday and we had the best Japanese ever it was so Divine. After lunch we had to rush to a wine testing on the Kookaburra Queen a beautiful old paddle boat that goes along the Brisbane River. Really weird being on the boat and thinking only a month ago this river destroyed so much of Brisbane.

How was your weekend and what did you get up to?

These are such great photos! The only way you'd get me to a soccer match would be with hospitality! Just off to the shops in a mo - have a good Sunday :)

Check out my giveaway of an ASOS clutch and Eyeko goodies! http://bit.ly/gviCSJ

Looks like fun! I've never been to a live soccer game, although I do like soccer! A lot of people I know think it's sooooo boring to watch, but I enjoy it! I worked for most of the weekend and then spent the rest with my boyfriend. Not very relaxing, but still pretty decent! :)

That looks like a wonderful weekend. It does seem surreal about that river though. I hope everyone you know is alright.

Thanks for your comment on my post about that disaster on the street in NYC, I can understand where the police would be scared of getting involved in a situation like that now that I'm far enough removed from it. It still sucks though. Ah well. Thanks again!
