Bedroom Antics

Sorry if you thought this post would be kinky. But the bedroom antics is just me updating our bedroom with a new doonah and pretty little goodies. Red is my favourite colour and I twisted Hubbies arm and he let me get the bright red retro doonah, I so love it. Only problem is that the next doonah that we get he gets to choose Yikes!!! Yes thats baby cat at the end of the bed again, any photos of my bed that I have put on my blog he appears in.

So Naughty!

I made this last week and it's so yummy that I had to share it with you girls.

Banana Pudding
395 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups of ice cold water
100g packet instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups of thickened cream
500g savoiardi biscuits (sponge biscuits)
4 cups sliced ripe bananas

Place the sweetened milk and water in a bowl and beat together on medium speed for about 1 minute then add the pudding mix and beat for 2 minutes. Place in the fridge for 3-4 hours or even overnight.

Whip the cream on medium speed until it has stiff peaks. Gently fold in the pudding mixture until well blended.

To assemble desert use large wide bowl with a 4 1/2 litre capacity. Spread a little of the pudding mixture on the base and arrange 1/3 of the biscuits over the bottom of the bowl. Overlapping if necessary. Layer with bananas and 1/3 of the pudding mixture. Repeat layering twice more finishing with a lovely layer of pudding mix. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and allow to chill for 4-8 hours.

Up, Up and Away

It may have been a very early start yesterday being 3am but it was so worth it. I can now tick Hot Air Ballooning of my list of things to do. It was so beautiful and peaceful, my favourite part was being in the clouds and not being able to see anything else around you apart from clouds. Not as romantic as I imagined it to be with 20 people in the basket with us, but still the most enjoyable experience!

Midweek Thrifting

I so wish I could go OP shopping in the middle of the week more often. I found so many goodies that are not there on the weekends. I'm so happy about this haul!

Zoo adventures

Nothing beats a day at the Zoo I could spend all day watching the animals. I have a obscene amount of Tiger shots which I will post later. Hubby had to drag me away from the Tigers kicking and screaming and having a major tantrum. OK so I wasn't that bad but I Really didn't want to leave. what is your favourite Zoo animal?
