Grandad's 90th Birthday

This weekend was my Grandad's 90th birthday. So it was dinner at Mum and Dad's house to celebrate. My Grandad is truly amazing other than losing his hearing he is still so young at heart, he is so quick witted and tells the most amazing stories from when he was a young boy. We had a lovely time and shared a few laughs as you can see in these photos.

I'm Back. Finally everything form our household claim has gone through and I have a camera again. It was perfect timing as it was my 40th birthday party on the weekend and I would have been so annoyed if I didn't get any photos of the night. After months of hunting I found my perfect dress the night before my party. My Hubby was so sick of me complaining about not being able to find anything. I told him I would know the dress soon as I had it on and that's what happened. As soon as I put this dress on I knew it had to be mine. I had a amazing night unfortunately it went to fast and I felt like I didn't talk enough to everyone but that's what happens isn't it. I was a very hung over girl on Sunday. Getting home when the sun is coming up is not a regular occurrence for this old girl. Here are some of my favourite photos from the night. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I'll Be Back

Just to let you know that I am still alive. We were broken into 3 weeks ago and lots of things got stolen. Most importantly my camera's and lap top so no post's from me for a while. Once my insurance claim has been processed I will be back.

Winter Light Carnival

A friend of ours works for the Childhood Cancer Support Team and she asked if any of us would like to volunteer for the annual Racecourse Road Winter Light Carnival. I thought that I would just be manning their stand, so I was so excited when she explained that we would be part of the parade. All I can say is that I felt like I was famous the amount of photos that were taken and people that were saying turn around fish, oh isn't the fish beautiful hehehe. I had a absolute blast even though the fish named Oprah was really heavy, I would love to help out again next year.

May In A Nutshell

May has been such a fun month I had a weekend away with the girls from work. We got our faces painted at the markets and had a total blast.

My friend has purchased a puppy Grid he is the cutest dog ever. I think that I am in love, he is still in the cute cuddly stage where he just falls asleep on your lap.

I have started to do fun runs every other weekend. I am so proud of myself as my time just keeps getting better and better.

Sweet Dreams

May is my favorite time of year for the weather. I love that it's cooler at night and the days are still lovely and warm. I have been after a onesie for ages and kept finding onesies at the front and normal pj's at the back and that's not what I call a real onesie. I finally found this one at Susan and I am in love. This is the last photo of me with long hair I had a huge chop on the weekend and I'm still not sure if I like it or not. Hope you all had a lovely weekend and are all ready for the Monday grind.

Winter Wonders

I have been keeping my eyes out for some cute jumpers for winter and these are some of my favorites from Dangerfield. I am totally in love with the Pug Jumper, I just wish that it came in red instead of black. What have you been buying lately?
